My Review (3.5/5 stars*)
Crave makes you wish you had a billionaire bachelor somewhere in your life. There is an immediate attraction between Archer Bancroft and Ivy Emerson. They've known each other for awhile but never were given the opportunity to dig deeper and explore what they could have. Archer is devastatingly handsome, has made his fortune by turning around a business that was set up for failure, and he doesn't date—won't even consider it. But when he and Ivy have an encounter at a mutual friend's reception they can hardly deny the sparks. Crave is rightfully titled and will make you long for a man like Bancroft. I liked how the characters were caught up in a moment only to have something draw them apart, realistically every beginning or potential start of a relationship is like that—cautious. For them there is a lot to consider in their personal lives before they can move anywhere near that direction. This book is hot, well-written, and has fun characters. For me I wished it was a longer read because I flipped through it way too quickly.
Although I enjoyed Crave I did have a few issues with it. Ivy and Archer both have a similar way of thinking and therefore they are stubborn and bunting heads a lot. Right when things look like they might move forward one or the other has to say something that leaves them both upset. They play a precarious game of hiding their true feelings with each other when it's very obvious. I wasn't a fan of the back and forth. I'm sure that may not be much of a deterrent for some but for me it was a problem. I enjoyed Archer's character but during a certain point of the story his love for Ivy turned him into an obsessive guy that made me feel uneasy. There's a scene that makes him look like hes lost his mind and he treats Ivy really horribly and she gets mad at him and then forgives him almost immediately. That whole situation made me not want to continue reading, but up until that point I liked the relationship they had going. Crave mostly focuses on Ivy and Archer which is great but their wasn't much story development or depth aside from that. Archer's behavior straightens out at the end and that was worth the bizarre display earlier on, and by the last page I was satisfied with the way everything worked out.
After reading Crave I want to read about the other billionaire bachelors. I'm most curious to see their turn-around from singledom to coupledom. This is a sexy story perfect for spicing up your nightly reading. If your in need of a reality break you should pick Crave up. Ivy and Archer are an entertaining pair with a string of problems to overcome, and feelings they need to confront. All in all Crave has sexy characters, strong chemistry, and an enjoyable story. Murphy does a fine job at drawing readers attention and writing a steamy narrative.

Synopsis:
Billionaire Archer Bancroft always gets what he wants—and he’s wanted Ivy Emerson, his best friend’s sister, for far too long. Being forbidden and untouchable only makes her more tempting. When a million-dollar bet with his friends throws down a challenge—last bachelor standing takes all—Archer knows he can win. That is, until one enchanted evening with Ivy takes his heart for a ride.
Ivy knows Archer is nothing but bad news: Infuriating, arrogant…and completely intoxicating. But despite her best efforts, she can’t seem to keep away. When a stolen kiss leads to a night of heated passion, Ivy realizes she’s in trouble and in head over heels.
But in the light of day, everything seems clearer and Archer’s not so sure a one-night stand is all he wants. Concocting a plan to keep Ivy by his side, Archer might just be willing to lose this bet…and win the jackpot instead.
