Genre(s): YA Paranormal/Fantasy/Romance
My Review: (4/5 stars*)
Anew is enchanting . The writing is simplistic but the story is anything but. You get wrapped within Scarlet's world savoring the refreshing turn of events. Full of unexpected little twists. I enjoyed unraveling the mysteries behind each character. Anew is a tragic love story that grips at your heart. I enjoyed it immensely . 4/5 stars because although it was very good it dragged a little towards the middle.
2 years pass by from when Scarlet Jacobs was found scared and alone in the woods. Ever since being found she can't remember anything before that day. Her past memories are just gone. While attending the town's "kissing festival" Scarlet meets a boy named Gabriel Archer who is familiar though she knows she hasn't met him in the last two years. He knows her from before. Her entire life is turned upside down when she goes seeking for answers. Answers that for a good reason were forgotten. Who is this Gabriel Archer? Why does she feel safe around him, and why can't she remember her past?
