Feature & Follow Friday! (#28)

*Fun blog hop feature hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read

Q: If you could only have ONE – one book – for the rest of your life. Don’t cheat…what would it be?

One book...for the rest of my life? That's a horrific thought but I think if I had to choose I'd pick The Indigo Spell (Bloodlines, #3) by: Richelle Mead. I love that series and that book particularly I don't think I could get tired of reading it. Richelle Mead is my favorite author at the the very top of a long list. The characters she created in the Vampire Academy series are amazing and Adrian really gets to shine in the spinoff Bloodlines series. He and Sydney are a wonderful pair, strong, witty, and Richelle's writing is superb. But if I were honest one book would hardly suffice for a lifetime, I need new material and how could I go on without ever knowing what happens next in the Bloodlines series? or any other for that matter. Impossible :)

  2. I'm almost done with the VA series (which I'm admittedly not the biggest fan of). Then I want to start this one because I'm definitely a fan of Adrian! Great pick!

    1. I wasn't the hugest fan of Vampire Academy either, although I loved Adrian's character. I don't know why maybe I just wasn't in love with Dimitri and Rose but it seemed like the secondary characters were always more interesting. I wasn't sure if anyone else felt this way or what but it's nice to see I'm not the only one! I love Bloodlines more than the VA books, but I'm glad I read them so I could understand the world and see how the characters develop.

Thanks for following I hope you have a great weekend!!

    1. You need to! Richelle Mead is one of those authors where no matter what book you pick up of hers you're guaranteed to enjoy it :)

I love her Succubus Blues series, Vampire Academy books, and of course the Bloodlines novels :)

Its certainly worth giving her works a read!

    1. I've been there with authors/books! I'm only now getting around to reading authors that have been around for awhile. For example I just read the Hunger Games trilogy this year! I'm so behind but there is no expiration on those sorts of things. As I recommended to Sandra Richelle Mead's books are a must-read!!

Thank you Linsey for checking out my FF :)

    1. I had thought about it but Indigo Spell is the one I love reading the most. It has a lot of character development and growth that was previously lacking. This was such a hard question to answer because I could have easily picked like 10+ books but there could only be one.

Thanks for stopping by Shane, hope you have a fantastic weekend :)
