The Lost Soul (Review)

(Fallen Souls, #1)

Release Date: June 27th, 2012
Genre(s): YA Paranormal/Fantasy/Romance

My Review: (5/5 stars*)

The Fallen Souls series is a spin-off to the Fallen Star series. It's even better than its predecessor! It's a simple and fast-paced read. This new series continues to follow Gemma Lucas' and Alex's story. Taking place a short amount of time after "The Promise". It's full of mystery, action, and secrets. Just when you think you have an idea of what's going on you're thrown for a loop and have to keep revising your initial thoughts because you won't expect where The Lost Soul will take you. You'll be shocked on more than one occasion. It keeps around almost all characters from the previous series so you get an even more in depth insight into the character's motives which is deliciously fascinating. Gemma learns more about her heritage and buried past making her story additionally compelling. Incredibly amazing series that will leave you at the edge of your seat craving more!
